Masks
This one has a story. Yes, I took this picture myself. The other day, I was eating some jellybeans. I looked down and thought that it would be a cool picture but I don't have three hands. Instead, I put on a lanyard and secured my phone at the very bottom of it, letting the bottom of my phone rest against my stomach. My phone doesn't have a timer, though, so I had to figure out how to actually take the picture. I remembered that if you plug in earbuds, you can take a picture with the volume buttons. So, I had my phone resting - quite precariously, actually - in a lanyard, my hands just below the camera straining to get the right angle, and the volume buttons on my earbuds in my mouth - once again, because I don't have three hands. All in all, I actually really love how this picture turned out!

This is a still-life-esque picture that I chose two subjects to focus on. I decided to choose the two Pellegrino caps because they had the most color out of all the caps. I wanted to focus on the foreground more so than the background because I felt that the flow of the placing brought the eye through the whole picture. I didn't choose the caps with flowers because they're white. I didn't want the Faygo caps because I've used them on my website before.

My umbrella has been hanging on my closet door knob for a while now due to the rainy weather. The umbrella itself has a lot of spots on it, making it an interesting picture with the masks on it. The spots are green and blue. The light coming in through my window made the shadows look really interesting. The sun wasn't out, so it surprised me that the shadow was do definitely defined.

I got these little owl magnets in a set of eight or so. The other six have found hidden homes - meaning I have no idea where they went. Although they fall down a lot, I keep these two on my lamp post along with another magnet that isn't pictured. The other owl is actually grey, the only color on him is orange (for the beak), so not much changed with this mask. I really liked the shadows that were cast by the beads - partly due to the rainy, grey sky outside.

This picture is mainly of a button I have on my camera case. I got this button a while ago from some shop that's escaped my memory. All I know is that I thought it was a little motivational phrase that fit perfectly into my mindset. I often see things I make as "bad," so it was a nice little reminder to think more positively. Behind the button are just little nicknacks that I have on my dresser.
